Albertsons 6/24/09

This morning I went to Albertsons. Using the double coupons(2 in Albertsons insert, and 2 per transaction), my manufacture coupons, and using it with the promotion going on, this is what I got. 32 Kraft ranch & Bacon pasta salad. (Anybody want some?)2 bottles heinz 57 bbq sauce(my fav) and 2 kraft squeeze mayo. 10 easy mac & cheese cups.(have good variety besides cheese) 3 airwick motion(air freshener). And finally cashed in on my raincheck for the quick release bayer aspirin-6 total. For all of this I spent $.26 cents! Well, if you count all the tax I paid, the total was $3.40! My total savings was $152.17! Happy shopping!!!

Cute inexpensive jewelry!

So I am now selling jewelry. Mostly on craigslist. But I wanted to share some information. No, I didn't sign up with some company. I am doing this all on my own! Inspired to do so after buying a cute blue bracelelt earring set for $5 at a boutique style shop in our area. I thought, what a great deal! And then decided I should let others have these great deals like I found on jewelry. I have the exact set for sale now too, but I also have the matching necklace as well!(picture on the right) You can see the pictures of some of the jewelry here. I have more than I can post. So if you are interested, have questions, or want to see what else I have, email me, sf_me@hotmail.com. You would see a lot of these styles at stores in the mall for a lot more than I would ever pay, or what anyone should pay! I think my prices are fair....ok...more like great!!! Earrings $3.50. Bracelets $4.50-5. Bracelet earring sets $5. Necklace earring sets $6.50!!! The only thing more than that is the fancier black and silver circles necklace earring set for $8.5o! And if you buy more than one thing at a time, I will take $.50 off each item! I would love some feedback as well. Hope you all enjoy my new jewelry collection!

SWAGBUCKS!

Search & Win
If you like to search the internet a lot. Or always find yourself doing so. Then this is definitely for you. I came across this on a coupon blog I read and set up the search engine toolbar for myself. All you do is search through them and they randomly reward you with "swagbucks." Once you earn enough, you can redeem them for prizes, like music downloads, baseball cards, amazon gift cards, and many more things!!! Its pretty cool to get free stuff just for searching the internet, which we all do anyways right?! Just click on the banner/picture at the top of this post to get started! Its easy and free!!! Let me know what you think!

I love Albertsons!

I made over 20 different purchases during this past week's sale at Albertsons. Tonight was the last day of the sale and got some more stuff. Found out earlier today there was an additional promotion going on with the Kraft dressing and produce. So my 7 1/2 pound bag of apples and bunches of grapes alone would have cost me $9.50 without coupons. However, everything you see in these pictures cost a total of $15.30!! And $5.35 of that was tax! My total savings this week was $293.04!!!!

FREE SONIC ROOT BEER FLOAT!!!

Tonight only from 8-closing at all Sonic locations! Enjoy your free root beer float!

And the fun begins!

This was my trip to Target yesterday! I even had more coupons to match up for more free mayonnaise but didn't take them with me. 5 Mayo-bigger bottles than the free ones I snagged at Albertson's. 4 bliss candy bars-mmm. 2 men's Degree deodorant(harder to get free then women's) And a vitamin water.(Didn't feel right printing off more than one of these coupons-as it didn't have a limit) Drumroll....and the total? 53 cents(which was all tax)!!!! Have a great deal I am working up on Albertson's. Hopefully have that posted next week!

Almost half way through the year...wow!

So time really flies! I think I am going to start posting more regularly. Especially now that I always have great deals to share! First off I thought I might update since the last post. We successfully closed and moved into our house in December! It was worth the wait! We love our new home! Got everything unpacked pretty quick but took a while to figure out where I wanted the bigger things and to put things up on the walls. We have hosted a few parties, had family stay, and gotten to know a few neighbors. I don't think we could have made a better choice. I am once again in the young women's program in our ward. Same calling...apparently thats where I am supposed to be and I am happy with that. I love being closer to my family and being able to have family stay with us.

Taylor will be 2 in a few weeks and she is definitely proving to me that she is growing up. Two weeks ago we got rid of the binky(cold turkey)with no problems. Last night I took apart her crib and set up her toddler bed. With her assistance. She really likes her new bed! She has been telling me when she needs to go on the toilet. Today she has kept her diaper dry for 4 hours and gone on the toilet 3 times! I think she decided to grow up over night! She may be in big girl underwear by her birthday(fingers crossed) which would be great!

Jake has been fortunate to stay busy at work and provide for our family. I am so grateful for that, knowing how hard it is to keep a job during these times. He is such a hard worker and know that his hard work is what's kept us going. I love my man! I have decided I absolutely love being at home and save quite a bit with my new hobby! Which takes enough time to be a part time job. Completely worth it!

As for my hobby...or "soul"(coupon binder) as Jake calls it. I am loving it! We are stocking up on the neccessities like never before. And paying pennies for it! Sometimes even getting things free or better yet, getting paid for it! For example, I just went to Walgreens this morning and bought a glucose meter(which I will donate-already gave one to my gma and she was thrilled)which was on sale for $10. I had a coupon for up to $30, which means free...but, this week they are giving $10 Register rewards with the purchase of the meter. What does that mean? That I paid 60 cents(all tax) but then it printed out a receipt/coupon for $10 off towards my next purchase at their store. Basically Walgreen cash! :) And did a similar thing last night with aspirin. Making $12 in Register rewards! Now I have $22 to spend at Walgreens for things I really need! :) Doesn't get any better than that....getting paid to shop, oh yeah!!!
